  • Perform regular network maintenance tasks, including firmware upgrades and patch management.

  • Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and standard operating procedures.

  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices in networking.


Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security concepts.

  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network equipment, such as Cisco routers and switches.

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and other networking technologies.

  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

  • Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Project management skills to plan and execute network infrastructure projects.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a network engineer, preferably in a senior or lead role.

  • Professional certifications, such as CCNP or CCIE, are highly desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security.

  • Experience with network equipment, such as Cisco routers and switches.

  • Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
