Position Overview

As a Night Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a facility during non-operational hours. Your responsibilities will include performing cleaning tasks, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, and supporting the overall cleanliness of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas, according to established cleaning procedures.

• Empty trash cans and dispose of waste in a proper and hygienic manner.

• Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

• Vacuum carpets and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.

• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.

• Refill soap dispensers, toilet paper, and paper towel holders as needed.

• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are properly stored and in good working condition.

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require bending, stooping, and lifting.

• Strong time management skills to complete cleaning tasks within designated timeframes.

• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to cleaning protocols.

Qualifications

• School diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.

• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.

• Reliable and punctual with good attendance record.
