Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Beauty Therapist. As a Beauty Therapist, you will provide a range of beauty treatments and services to clients, helping them look and feel their best. This role requires a strong passion for beauty, excellent technical skills, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of beauty treatments, including facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and body treatments, in accordance with established protocols and standards.

• Assess client needs and preferences to recommend appropriate treatments and products.

• Provide personalised consultations to address individual client concerns and goals.

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring that all equipment and tools are properly sanitized and ready for use.

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to provide the latest and most effective beauty services.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.

• Manage appointment bookings, scheduling, and follow-ups to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

• Upsell products and additional services to enhance the client experience and contribute to business revenue.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

• In-depth knowledge of beauty treatments, techniques, and best practices.

• Strong technical skills in performing various beauty services, such as facials, manicures, pedicures, and waxing.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients and build rapport.

• Attention to detail to deliver precise and high-quality treatments.

• Ability to adapt treatments based on client preferences, needs, and any specific skin or health conditions.

• Upbeat and friendly demeanour to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients.

• Strong sales and upselling abilities to promote products and additional services.

• Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential client information.

Qualifications

• Relevant certification or diploma in Beauty Therapy or a related field.

• Proven experience working as a Beauty Therapist, preferably in a salon or spa setting.

• Knowledge of skincare products, cosmetics, and beauty industry trends.

• CPR and First Aid certification is desirable
